EHS Group Raises Money for Gloves
The Evergreen High School (EHS) iQ Credit Union Campus Branch and SkillsUSA recently ran a coin drive to raise funds for gloves for local elementary schools. It turned out to be a big success.
Kim Berhow, Career Counselor at EHS, said the drive raised nearly $1,000. The drive turned into a classroom competition with the top earning class receiving a pizza party.
Two classrooms raised over $100 each and a third raised over $300 for the cause. That funds raised translated into roughly 1,700 pairs of gloves. Gloves are being sent to students at Endeavour, Image and Burton elementary schools.
