Skills Center Culinary Students Chosen for Governor's Ball

When Washington’s new governor Jay Inslee is inaugurated in January, students from the Clark County Skills Center will be there. Skills Center Restaurant Management/Culinary Arts program students will provide hors d’oeuvres for the Governor’s Ball and Reception, Wednesday, January 16th at St. Martin’s University in Olympia.
 
Invited by the Washington State Chefs Association and The American Culinary Federation, the students will prepare the fare Tuesday, January 15th.  Skills Center Chef/Instructor Andrew McColley and Restaurant Management Instructor Greg Retchless are opening the kitchen to reporters, air personalities, photographers, camera persons and all other members of the media on the 15th beginning at 8:00AM.
