Career and Technical Education (formerly known as "vocational education") is a high school program of courses that provides rigorous academic engagement, exploration of career pathways, and lifelong employability and leadership skills. These rich learning experiences include laboratory activities, work site experiences, simulations, competitive events and career planning. |

Career and Technical Education provides opportunities for students to have authentic experiences while planning and preparing for their post-secondary choices in college, vocational-technical school, apprenticeships, the military or directly to work. |

Student Enrollment
In the fall of 2007, 6,222 students were enrolled in one or more Career & Technical Education courses at each of our high schools: Evergreen, Heritage, Legacy, Mountain View and Union. Click here for a list of courses for each program area for each high school. |
