In this episode you'll learn how the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization is expanding to several more Evergreen Schools, you’ll hear about an event at Heritage that brought community members back to the classroom, you’ll see student impressions of the newly installed artwork at Covington Middle School, and we'll hear news from around the district. 

 

  1. Big Brothers Big Sisters Program
    The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization has helped pair up younger students with mentors from Heritage High School for several years. Now, thanks to a federal grant, the program is expanding to include Evergreen and Mountain View high school students as well. 
     
  2. Community Connections Day
    This event brought community leaders to Heritage High School to see first-hand what's going on at the school.
