Shelter in Place

An Emergency requiring your child’s school to shelter in place (earthquake, severe weather or chemical spill).

• DO NOT call the school or district office (keep working lines open for emergency personnel)
• DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL until the emergency personnel announces it is safe to travel to school
• DO tune your radio and TV to the stations below for updates

Your child’s school has shelter in place plans, procedures and material to try to keep your child safe for periods up to 72 hours.
