Evergreen Public Schools uses an Internet-based system for delivering changes in schedule, such as snow closures, to the news media. Click HERE to view the current FlashAlert.net items for Evergreen Pubic Schools.

This year, message delivery is being extended directly to the public through a system called FlashAlert. You are now able to self-register and manage up to five home or office email and/or cell phone text message addresses and receive emergency information just minutes after we post it, at no cost to you.

Register to receive automatic email alerts

To register, go to FlashAlert.net and in the left frame, select "Subscribe to receive news from participating organizations." Enter your primary email address twice. On the next screen, under "Add an Organization," choose [Portland/Vanc/Salem], under the category name choose [Clark Co. Schools], then under Organization choose [Evergreen]. Click on "Subscribe."

Below that you can enter up to four more addresses. When you are done, click "Update Email Addresses and Send Test Messages." A verification message will be sent to each of your listed addresses.

Spam filters

Please be aware that with the proliferation of spam and the resulting spam filters, it is impossible to completely guarantee message delivery, since different filters block different messages. After adding or changing email addresses, have test messages sent to verify they will pass through your mail server's filters.

Privacy

All addresses registered on FlashAlert will remain confidential and shall not be released to any person or organization.

Once a year you will receive an email at your primary address asking if you wish to continue receiving messages.
