ASVAB Testing

Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors! - Consider taking the

                ASVAB Test!  Thursday, March 16, 9:00 AM

The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO JOIN THE MILITARY TO TAKE THIS TEST IT IS EXCELLENT PRACTICE FOR SATs). It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.  There is no cost to take the ASVAB!

YMCA Scholarship

YWCA Clark County is accepting scholarship applications through March 13 for its Young Women of Achievement Awards. Four scholarships will be offered to 12th-grade students of schools in Clark County.

Top candidates for the award are female role models who are involved in the community and demonstrate “outstanding achievement in volunteer and school leadership roles” and a “commitment to YWCA Clark County’s mission,” the nonprofit said in a news release.

PeaceHealth Scholarship!

The PeaceHealth Southwest Foundation has announced it is taking applications for scholarships.  The deadline for submitting applications is April 5, 2017.  Please follow this link for more information.

Smarter Balance Testing

Smarter Balance Testing:  Grade 10 - ELA test begins March 8 until finished.  Testing takes place in English class.
Smarter Balance Testing:  Grades 11 and 12 - Math test held on March 20th and 21st.  8:25 - 2:35 in the Commons.
We will possibly have a morning and after lunch session depending on the number of test takers (11th grade AM, 12th grade PM) or Alpha order (A-K AM, L-Z PM).
