Evergreen High School 4/29/08

This afternoon an Evergreen High School student brought some fireworks to school in his bag. While two Evergreen High School staff members were searching the bag, the fireworks exploded, injuring all three of them. Both staff members were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The student was examined by paramedics but did not need to be taken to the hospital. He was detained and is being questioned by the Vancouver Police Department.

All other students and staff were unharmed.
