Evergreen Internet Academy (EIA) change to iQ Academy Washington

For the past two years, we have been exploring more and better options for our Evergreen Public Schools online school. We are pleased to announce an exciting new development for our online school. Beginning this fall, Evergreen Internet Academy will become iQ Academy Washington. Along with the name change come significant new opportunities for students and families.

Evergreen Public School District is partnering with KC Distance Learning, a national leader in online education, to expand the classes we offer online and to bring the benefits of an Evergreen education to students throughout the state.

Classes will continue to be taught by our district's experienced public school teachers. Our school academic advisor will work with each student to develop a student learning plan. iQ Academy Washington will offer an award-winning curriculum that includes extensive Advanced Placement and world language classes. We will deliver these classes through a media-rich, interactive learning environment that will add dynamic teacher and student discussions to our classes.

We will also provide a complete educational experience, complementing the online classroom with service learning, educational field trips, and social outings. These are new and exciting aspects of our virtual school.
