FBLA students qualify for Nationals
32 Heritage Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students attended the State Business Leadership Conference in Bellevue April 10-12. Students competed in various events and represented Heritage extremely well. Over 1,600 students competed at State and many events had more than 100 competitors in them.
Heritage HS earned 1st place in two events: Steven Loos in Business Law; Brianna Cheek and Olena Khmelnytska in Banking & Financial Systems. The chapter also received a 2nd place trophy for the Largest Chapter in the Southwest Region.
There were also several teams in the top ten! The Global Business team of Nick Jones, Steven Loos, and Michelle Dudley; the Web Site Development Team of Archael delaRosa, Dakota Tinker, and Stephen Wu; and the E-Business Site of Emma Farley, Kim Cahan, and Chris Clow.
Loos, Cheek, and Khmelnytska now have the opportunity to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference June 23-30 in Atlanta, Georgia.
