Union High School Community Pride Design Award Video

Union High School was recently honored with a Community Pride Design Award by Clark County Community Development. “These awards recognized outstanding projects that enhance the livability of the community and demonstrate quality development throughout Clark County,” said Marian Anderson, Community Relations Manager for Clark County Development.

Union was honored for the design which emphasizes small learning communities to enhance student’s natural talents and individuality, as well as features like classrooms designed for as much natural light as possible and the use of similar materials between buildings to create a cohesive campus.

The other five projects recognized included the Battle Ground Skate Park, Clark County Center for Community Health, Firstenburg Tower at Southwest Washington Medical Center, Kiwanis Park, and the Bruce and Judith Wood residence.

Each project was featured in a short video presentation. You can view Union's below.
