Digital Arts

A variety of art classes are offered aimed at expanding students’ creative skills in a challenging and fun environment using technology.  Beginning courses are designed to help students learn the basics of the art principles.  More advanced classes build upon skills and help students develop creative expressions, higher level thinking and the appreciation and understanding of art in a cultural and historical context. 

The following art classes also satisfy the requirements of an Occupational Education credit: 3-D Animation 1, 3-D Animation 2, Graphic Design 1, Graphic Design 2, Digital Photo 1, Digital Photo 2, Digital Video Production and Advanced Digital Video Production.  Digital Arts courses are divided into three strands: graphics, photo and video and are shown below.
