Manufacturing Technology

Do you enjoy learning about how things are made and why they are made from certain materials? Do you enjoy working with your hands and making things? If you answered yes, then this is the program for you. Manufacturing Technology offers a broad range of activities, skills and experiences within construction, metals, metal design, welding, machining and computer integrated manufacturing.

Students will use hands on practices to learn basic and advanced technical skills which are needed throughout the skilled manufacturing career field, an area that is in high demand in southwest Washington. Personal projects include blending materials into alloys, designing metal sculptures and other custom projects. Course offerings are displayed below under three strands: Manufacturing, Metals and Woods.
