Schools

The high standards and expectations of Evergreen Public Schools are in place at each of the district's schools. However, as uniform as our expectation, each school remains unique. Each school's student body and staff develop an identity and pride all its own. You may view a list of all schools with phone numbers, websites and addresses, or click a school name to the right to view details on that school. A schedule of school performances is available on this website as well.

 High Schools

 2008-2009 calendar

Inspiring students to exceed expectations and achieve success in life is more than just a job to the faculty at the district's three comprehensive high schools - it is their passion. Student in grades 9-12 have world class options, from rigorous and challenging college prep and honors classes, to music and fine arts programs ranking among the finest in the Pacific Northwest.

Our quality Career and Technical Education Program offers agricultural sciences, business and marketing, family and consumer science, and technical occupations. Evergreen Public Schools is the host district of the Clark County Vocational Skills Center, a cooperative educational venture between eight southwest Washington school districts. High school juniors and seniors are trained in technical career areas too expensive for a single district to fund.

Alternative Schools

 2008-2009 calendar

Not all students are successful in the traditional school setting. This is not to say, however, they can not be successful students. Evergreen Public Schools offers a variety of alternative education options. Legacy High School offers an alternative educational opportunity to high school students in the district. It serves an average of 160 full-time high school students.

The Early Childhood Center provides early childhood special education services for young children and their families in an environment that is safe, meaningful, and stimulating. Developmentally appropriate practices are used to facilitate children's intellectual, social, emotional, communication, and physical growth at an individualized level.

The iQ Academy Washington is an on-line school where students can take classes from home or at the Internet Academy Center. This is the first program of its kind in southwest Washington and one of only a few in the state.

The district's Home Choice Academy was created to partner with parents to provide home schooled students with additional educational opportunities. The school offers classes designed specifically to student who are home schooled.
