Course Format
-These courses meet and exceed the requirements set by the State of Washington regarding Traffic Safety programs.
-The course will consist of 9 learning units.
-Students will progress from simple tasks to more complex traffic with the emphasis being on making safe decisions.
-The course format will be in-class activities, with a final test over the Washington Drivers Guide at the end of the course.
-The driving section will consist of 12 - 30 minute lessons.
-They will start with basic control and end with complex freeway driving.
-Driving schedules will be discussed at the first class meeting.

Requirements

The state requirement is for 30 hours classroom, 6 hours of drive time and
12 hours of observation for each student.
-
Students must attend all 15 class sessions
(a missed class must be made up and a make-up fee may be charged).

Student must be able to get a Washington Learners Permit by the 3rd day of class.
-
Students must be at least 15 years of age.

Our instructors all are state certified TSE instructors and together they have
over 100 years of Driver Education teaching experience.

To receive a refund for any classes, the Evergreen Community Education office must be notified of your intent to withdraw at least three business days prior to the first class. For classes meeting at least 3 times, you may receive prorated refund if the Community Education office is notified of your intent to withdraw before the second class. A processing fee (10% per class) will be deducted from all student requested refunds. Refunds due to medical reasons require a doctor’s note.
