On October 14, 2025, the EPS Board of Directors swore in the two students who are serving as the Board's Student Representatives. Each year, the Board appoints two high school students who are tasked with bringing the perspective of students to district matters.
Loreli, a senior, believes student voice can be a force for advocacy and change. She has been a prominent voice in the district, serving as the narrator for the district’s official informational video on the 2025 levy, as well as twice serving as president of the Associated Student Body. A first-generation Mexican American, she has been in a dual language program throughout her EPS career, and participates in band, softball and the National Honors Society.
Daisy, a junior, wants to make sure voices from diverse backgrounds are heard, and to advocate for removing the stigma around mental health. Daisy has served in multiple leadership roles, including president in the National Honors Society, vice president in the Red Cross and Washington state lead for ShelterBridge, which uses technology to help homeless individuals.
